School Pride Scholarship

UCF is the perfect school to network. With it being the second largest university in the nation in student enrollment, it is no wonder why each student you encounter has at least 200 friends on facebook. At UCF there is spirit everywhere and clubs are overpopulated, because there is no way that with the vast amount of students that go to UCF you won’t find someone with your same interests.

UCF’s environment is rich in promoting recycling and positive health and fitness. The gym is open at convenient times for students and the paths to longboard and bike around campus are endless. The free shuttle services that run every 20 min to and from neighboring student housing makes UCF an ideal choice to stay connected with friends outside of the classroom and never run out of things to do.

If UCF is not reason enough to attend college, then try out the 30-45 min drive to Orlando’s best attractions such as Universal Studios and Disney World. With student discounts to the parks and in neighboring businesses, there is no way you can go over your budget while attending UCF.

But, if all you are looking for is a school to sit down, relax, enjoy the outdoor weathers and study, then UCF’s reflection pond is the place to be at. May it be to pray a rosary, listen to someone play guitar, or attend a concert; the reflection pond has so much spiritual healing to offer.  

Right by the reflection pond there is the free speech lawn. Here one can gather around to voice their opinion on abortion or growing closer to a particular faith.

If all I have mentioned is not enough a reason to love UCF, then market day every Wednesday in front of the student union may do it for you. On this day hundreds of local businesses have been gathering to share what they have to offer to college students; may it be housing, free coupon books, or the local tye dye shirt guy, market day offers what any college student should be doing with their social life.

Talking about social life, Late Knights provides a safe environment on Friday nights for students to enjoy free prize giveaways, food, and events that will make the night feel young forever.

All in all, UCF offers one of the best college experiences out there that will allow you to have a great network and take leadership roles in and out of the classroom.

I love these people more than anything on earth. Totally missing them right now. I can’t begin to imagine the battle they are facing to give me the best life I could imagine. Mommy and daddy, I love you and I’m sorry if I don’t always show it.

I love this song. Cash is such a beast for covering NIN. This song gets stuck in my head everytime I watch the Prototype 2 commercial. >.

Another semester, another SA/Bemis show Richard makes the effort to drive 4 hours alone to see me. The show was awesome, we were in the middle the whole time and somehow as soon as Shiksa played we teleported near the front of the stage. Ahhh…Men was incredibly performed.
